Heres one of Mama’s recipes that was quick and very simple to make.2 cups of pasta (substitute for wheat) I like to use bow tie’ pasta>rigatoni works as well<, 2 cups of broccoli florets,4 tablespoons of minced garlic(love garlic) it’s good for your blood!crushed red pepper to taste,fresh parmesan cheese and Italian extra virgin olive oil.Boil water for pasta and in a basket place broccoli florets,steam for about 4-5 minutes in a sauce pan of 2 inches of water on medium heat,than pull from basket and let cool,In a medium size skillet add 4 tablespoons of Italian extra virgin olive oil,place on medium heat add minced garlic and slighty brown,try not to over cook garlic,reduce heat once it’s done.Place bow tie’ pasta into boiling water and cook until tender,drain pasta and add to skillet,mix pasta,Italian virgin olive oil,garlic,while adding broccoli florets,crushed red pepper to taste and top with fresh parmesan cheese. That’s it! serve in a nice size bowl and enjoy.Dessert later Blackberry frozen yogurt.Bon appetit 🙂 Mangia! Mangia! P.S. you can also use a 12 oz can of Campbell’s Cream of Broccoli’ as a alfredo sauce which taste AWESOME as well! Please for the love of God’ don’t use that store-bought crap alfredo sauce,as it is the worst thing out there for your Heart and very high in cholesterol!Campbell’s Cream of Broccoli’ much better for you.
